Day 1 :

One Day Hiking Itinerary at Hell's Gate National Park

07:00 AM – Hotel Pick-up and Departure

Depart from your hotel in Nairobi and begin the scenic drive towards Hell’s Gate National Park, located about 90 km from Nairobi. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley along the way.

09:00 AM – Arrival at Hell’s Gate National Park

Arrive at Hell’s Gate National Park and meet your park guide for a short briefing on safety and the hiking route. The park is named for its towering cliffs and geothermal activity, making it one of the most unique parks in Kenya.

09:30 AM – Start of the Hiking Expedition

Begin your hike through the park’s dramatic landscapes. You’ll explore the famous Fischer’s Tower, a towering volcanic plug that serves as the park’s landmark. Take in the magnificent rock formations and wildlife, which includes zebras, giraffes, buffalos, and various bird species like vultures and eagles.

10:30 AM – Hike to Hell’s Gate Gorge
